What belongs here
This is GoodNest’s content policy. It goes with the terms and the privacy policy.
Last updated October 12, 2026.
GoodNest is for love that lasts: a letter, a voice, a picture, a gift toward a child’s future. Everything left here is for one child and their family.
Tell them a story they have not heard. Say what you hope for them. Tell them who they were when they were small. Please leave only what you would be glad for that child to find one day.
A parent reads it first
A child’s parent or guardian sees every guest message before it is kept, and can turn any of them away. Nothing is kept for a child until their own parent or guardian has said yes.
What does not belong
Most people will never need this list. It is here so everyone knows where the lines are. These never belong here:
- Anything that harms, threatens, shames or frightens a child or their family.
- A message to a child from someone a court, or the child’s parent, has said must stay away.
- Hate, harassment or cruelty toward anyone.
- Other people’s private details: addresses, phone numbers or documents.
- Pictures or recordings of people who have not agreed. For a child, their parent or guardian is the one who agrees.
- Pretending to be someone else.
- Making a page for a child unless you are their parent or legal guardian.
- Asking for money dishonestly, or sending people to a page that is not real.
- Advertising, links to things for sale, or anything sent in bulk.
- Files meant to harm a phone or a computer.
- Music, film or writing you do not have the right to share.
And never, in any form, anything that sexualizes a child. The law requires us to report it.
If something is wrong
Write to [email protected] and tell us which page or message. GoodNest can remove anything, close a page, or stop someone from using GoodNest when we believe these rules were broken or someone could be hurt.
If a child is in danger right now, call 911 first.
If a private or intimate picture of you is here
If someone has shared an intimate picture or video of you here without your consent, you can ask us to take it down. You do not need an account, and someone you trust can ask for you.
Tell us where it is, sign with your name, say that it was shared without consent, and tell us how to reach you. We take it down, with any identical copies we know of, within 48 hours of a valid request, and we reply to tell you the outcome.
